February 2016

Knock Knock! Who's There? Snow! Snow who? Snow laughing matter. The winter that isn’t is a joy for some and a terrible disappointment for folks who like winter and for all the plants and critters that rely on the seasons to survive. Lots of snow is not such good news for our southern friends. Ah well. Though there are always fluctuations in the seasons – this year is the most extreme we’ve seen in our 36 years in the Adirondacks. As I write there are a few stranded flakes floating by. Here’s hoping they gather strength and we get a few inches. It’s been three years since we sent out a February newsletter – The past several winters have been full of time to create and try new things. We’re playing out our new and traditional music with a few covers this February and wanted to share the news. We’re also continuing to be excited about our newest CD “Wake Up!” - Very timely for this winter.
